    STUDY TIPS:

    1. Download the app Be Focused' create a To-do for each subject. The app lets you get things done by breaking up individual tasks among discrete intervals, separated by short breaks. It’s a surprisingly effective way to retain motivation and focus.
    2. Use colours and various methods when writing notes, if typing notes try to also do a set of hand written so it really sticks in your brain
    3. Take breaks and eat healthy food, this will keep your brain fresh and ready to work
    4. Don’t cram late at night, if your tired your retention decreases dramatically- try waking up 30 mins earlier, or memorising on the bus or in the car on the way to school
    5. Plan out your study before you start, or make a to-do list. This will keep you focused and efficient
    6. Work smart not hard, trial different study methods and see what works for you (these may vary from subject to subject)
    7. Keep hydrated
    8. Put your phone in another room or with a parent, so you do not become tempted by it
    9. Practice past tests in the given time limits, so that you are used to the timing for the actual exam
    10. Give yourself a break, spare some time to go for a walk, go to lunch with friends or play sport

    Hope these all help xxx
